Hi, My name is Angel Phillips. I am writing this in hopes you will put this on your web site for all the people, in my eyes, that are heroes.

My mother lived above Stefano's. My daughter and nieces were spending the night with her. I heard the alarm go off on the scanner at 5:45 am. I got up and called my sister to get up there to get our kids and other family members out. I had 22 family members that were in the buildings at the time of the fire. After my sister got back with our children and my mother and I knew they were all safe,I went up to see the fire.

It was the most devastating thing I ever saw. I watched as all of my mother's memories and everything she owned go up in flames. It was very upsetting and sad but I was thanking god the whole time that all of my family members and other families that had been there came out alive.

I want to thank everybody that came forward to help. In my eyes all the fire fighters and other emergency personal that were there are heroes they tried their best to fight this devastating fire. Nobody was badly hurt and there were no deaths. People have said a lot about how things were done, but these people risked their lives to help. There have been a lot of wonderful people out there that have helped and have just come forward to comfort everybody. These people are all heroes in my eyes. There is not just one hero in this story.

This fire has changed my life forever and I pray and hope to God that I never have to live through anything like this again. Once again I would just like to thank everybody and anybody that has helped during this time. In my eyes you are all heroes!

HI, this is Amanda Phillips. My grandmother, Charlotte French, lived in the Stefano's back apartment. I was staying with her and my two cousins, Brandy and Brittany, stayed with me. Grama was babysitting Brandy.

Grama woke us up and said stay calm and not to panic because Johnson's Auction Barn was on fire. I did not panic. Her phone was hooked up in the front aptartmnt because that is where she was moving to. So, she told us to go next door to our friend Heather and ask to use her phone to call my mom. I called my mom and it was busy, I tried and tried again and then finally I got through and mom said get out, it is a ten-ten!

My mom called my aunt at 5:45 and my aunt was up to my Grama's at 5:57 and before my cousin even got out of the jeep to come and get us she was already screaming at the top of her lungs," GET OUT OF THERE."

I thank all of the people who helped out my Grama and all of the other 22 of my relatives. My Grama was the only one in her apartment building that had a scanner. Thanks to everyone who helped my entire family out. I send out my blessings and my thanks.

Yes, you may put my story on your site. I am a seventh grader. I was staying at my Grama's. She is the one who lived there, not me. I also had 22 relatives that lived in other apartments. I was a friend with everyone in Stefano's apartment building.

It was a scary and very sad experience for me. I am glad that no one, not even the Firemen and the Emergency Personal, was not hurt. It was a really devastating thing to go through with my Grama. My Grama is handling the Fire a lot better and easier than the rest of my family. All of my family members have found places to live.

Thank you to all who have helped my family and friends in this time of need. Thank you all.
