After the tragedy of September 11, 2001, we held a ceremony to honor the victims of the World Trade Center destruction. Our principal, Mr. Cook led us in a moment of silence and rememberance.

Many classes have silent tributes outside their rooms.

Students in all three fourth grade Social Studies classes make patriotic pins to raise money for President Bush's project to help the children of Afghanistan.

 

We were able to send $140 in all and felt very good about the fact that we had done this ourselves - not just asked our parents for money.
